Textbooks on languages, teaching aids, textbooks, test kits, methodological recommendations for teachers have been developed. The content and purpose of this article are devoted to the problems of learning Uzbek as a second foreign language and the specific complexity of this process. The article analyzes the curriculum related to the teaching of Uzbek as a second foreign language in higher education institutions of the Russian Federation.
