Objective of the study: to study the prevalence of chronic gastritis and FD in Tashkent and regions of Uzbekistan; study of the clinical assessment of the effectiveness of the drug "Gastritol" for the treatment of FD. Material and methods: The study included 621 patients aged 19 to 80 years. All patients were questioned using a special questionnaire, where the probability of the presence of acid-related diseases, including FD, was studied. Patients with FD “Gastritol” were prescribed 20-30 drops 3 times a day, dissolved in a small amount of water for 14 days, and the dynamics of the disappearance of symptoms was assessed using a 3-point system. Results: Studies have shown that the vast majority of respondents with symptoms of acid-related diseases of the gastrointestinal tract were residents of the city of Tashkent. The primary survey of the respondents revealed FD in only 6% of the individuals. Surveys carried out further showed that, in terms of percentage, the number of patients with FD is the leader among acid-dependent diseases of the digestive system. "Gastritol" had a positive effect on the dynamics of clinical manifestations of the disease. Conclusions: At the primary care level, in most cases, the diagnosis of chronic gastritis is made without appropriate confirmation. Appointment of the drug "Gastritol" to patients contributed to the pronounced relief of pain and postprandial functional dyspepsia syndromes, which indicates its high therapeutic efficacy.
