Abstract

Objective:to study the factors affecting the quality of life of patients with critical ischemia of the lower extremities after a high amputation (shin, thigh). Material and research methods:the results of treatment of 885 patients for 2002-2017 are analyzed with critical ischemia of the lower limbs received inpatient treatment at the Republican Center for Purulent Surgery and Surgical Complications of Diabetes Mellitus at the 2nd Clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy. The main survey methods were general laboratory data and studies of the state of the vascular bed. Results and their discussion:mortality at the end of 1 year after amputation of the limb in the groups: in the patients of the main group - 52.7%, in the control group - 68.2%, - statistically differed from each other (p <0.05). After 2 years, the number of deaths in the group of patients in the main group was 19.8%, and in the control group - 49.3%, the differences were statistically significant (p <0.05). During the three-year period, the group of patients in the main group had 13.4% at 36 months of follow-up, in the control group, the mortality was 26.7% at the last 29 months of follow-up. Conclusions:evaluation of anti-inflammatory status in the treatment of patients who have undergone high limb amputation is a significant prognostic sign that determines both immediate and long-term results of treatment. Based on the scoring of SIRS signs, a clinical outcome can be predicted in patients with CLI who underwent high amputation.
