Preservation of the natural qualities of raw cotton during the implementation of technological operations of its processing, including long-term storage, requires studying the penetration of air through the mass of raw cotton. Because air can be a carrier of heat during drying and processing with chemicals to disinfect it from microorganisms, and during long-term storage of cotton in riots is used to reduce the temperature of the stored raw cotton.
