This article studied the properties of the shell of cocoons: thickness; power; density; porosity; Unwinding of locally grown hybrids Asaka-Margilan and Ipakchi1-Ipakchi2. Influencing factors on the quality of raw silk were determined by conducting experiments. t is scientifically substantiated that, when performing high-quality sorting of cocoons, the quality of raw silk is improved. It was revealed that the properties of the shell of cocoons in the experimental version are significantly higher than in the control. Results of researches are resulted in the table and histograms. The selection of raw materials for the production of new products from natural silk is scientifically and practically justified. It is noted that from the studied cocoon hybrids one can obtain high-quality raw silk
