Methods and algorithm of calculation are developed, as well as a computer program allowing to automate the processes of qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the dependence of the rotation speed, rotational force and torque, arising at the upper points of the reel surface from the power of the drive motor and the radius of the cross section of the reel. With the help of the developed algorithm and the computer program, numerical experimental studies were carried out to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the relationship between the parameters of the reel. The calculation methods and algorithms, as well as a computer program, allowing to automate the evaluation of the functional dependencies of the tension of unwinding threads on constructive parameters - cross-sectional shapes, described and inscribed radios cross-section, and also the rotational speed of the reel is invented. With the help of the developed algorithm and the computer program, numerical experimental studies were carried out based on the results of which general conclusions were drawn. It is known, that the establishment of functional dependencies of the tension of silk threads on constructive (geometric dimensions of the cross-section) and technological parameters of reel represents а scientific and practical interest. The paper presents the scheme, the calculation algorithm and the results of numerical experiments to establish the functional relationship between the rotational speed, time and duration of interaction between the sides and the ribs, the values of external forces applied to the reel strings and the dependence of these forces on the motor drive motor's capacity.
