The article, taking into account the analysis of dust collecting devices used in the cotton gin industry, examines the study of the technology for collecting fibrous waste from the composition of dust waste emitted in technological processes, as well as the cleaning of dust waste emitted into the atmosphere in concentrations within the standard values. The results of experimental studies on the proportional choice of the diameter of the duct to select the geometric parameters of the device for collecting fibrous waste are presented and the dimensions of the mesh surface are taken in order to prevent the influence of aerodynamic drag. The main purpose of the experiments is to prevent the loss of speed in the device for collecting fibrous waste. An average hour of time was allocated for the experiments. After the experiment, the total mass of fibrous waste was measured and the time spent on it was measured. In addition, based on the results obtained on the performance of the feeding device, its effect on the dust collector was studied. Based on the obtained results, the effectiveness of the proposed new technology is substantiated. Firstly, dusty waste treatment has been achieved from 60-70% to 95-98%; secondly, the concentration of dust released into the atmosphere decreased from a value of 250 mg / m3 to 102 mg / m3, that is, as a result, this value decreased by 2.5 and a new technology for the capture of fibrous waste was recommended
