Experimental studies have been carried out to study the effect of various fillers on the physicomechanical and tribological properties of the compositions and the optimal contents of the fillers have been established, which provide the best properties of polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and polyamide structural composite materials. The principle of designing of impact-resistant, antifriction antifriction and wear-resistant polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and polyamide constructional composite materials is proposed. High performance structural composite materials of functional purpose based on thermoplastic polymers and fillers of different structure and nature, having sufficiently high strength and tribological characteristics and which have found use in the cotton working bodies of cotton machines working under conditions of interaction with raw cotton, have been developed.
