Military uniforms and shoes are important for the daily and household activities of the troops. In peacetime, shoes, especially soldier’s shoes, are the subject to increased wear due to the conduct of drill, field training and maneuvers, guard duty and the long-term presence of military personnel in it. Employees of power structures, because of their service and for a long time are in conditions of low temperatures. For winter footwear defining role played by the heat-shielding properties of shoes. At low temperatures, impaired blood flow in lower extremities significantly affects the overall heat exchange of the entire human body. Therefore, heat-insulated footwear should ensure the natural mobility of the foot with comfort and appropriate temperature inside the shoe space. Worldwide complex analysis of design and technology was conducted. The properties of materials insulated footwear for military personnel are investigated and materials for insulated footwear are proposed.
