Abstract

The scientific work of scientists from different countries on the solution of environmental problems in the final finishing of natural fibers, on the replacement of formaldehyde-containing pre-condensates with low- and formaldehyde-free preparations is discussed in this article. The recommended preparations do not give the opportunity to completely eliminate free formaldehyde, they contribute to the low effect of poor wrinkling, a large reduction in the breaking load and resistance to abrasion, yellowing of the finished fabric, and the formation of sticks on the equipment shafts. It is proposed to use a low-formaldehyde preparation of domestic production - acetone-formaldehyde (ACF) resin for low-crease finish of cotton fabric (Ferganaazot OJSC) and non-formaldehyde preparation K-4 (Navoiazot OJSC) for low-shrink and low-crease finish of silk and Engineering Science and Materials: Technology of cotton and textile industry 2 Textile Journal of Uzbekistan №2/2019 cotton fabrics. The advantage of these substance is prostate synthesis, availability, relatively low cost and the possibility of combining the processes of final finishing and dyeing.
