Abstract

This article contains the tribotechnical characteristics of raw cotton when interacting with the working surfaces of technological equipment. Existing methods, devices and the availability of relevant regulatory documents are analyzed. It is noted that in order to obtain reliable research results and ensure their guarantees, it is necessary to use specific methods and devices of existing patents and existing regulatory documents. Raw cotton and its main fiber and seed elements are of great economic and strategic importance in the economic sector. This article provides an overview of the main tribotechnical characteristics, the frictional interaction of materials with cotton. It is noted that the test results must be reliable and reliably reproducible. In particular, it is noted that the same methods and tools are used to compare and determine the results of the study, that is, the same standard requirements. Due to the widespread use of heterocomposite polymeric materials in the details of technological equipment and other engineering parts, it is recommended to evaluate their characteristics according to the newly developed GOST O’zDSt 2822: 2014, and in order to ensure the operational reliability of new materials, it is necessary to take into account the patterns of stress relaxation with friction accounting.
