DETERMINATION OF THE AMOUNT OF HEAT CONSIDERED FOR THE EVAPORATION OF MOISTURE MOVING IN THE SCREW COTTON

Abstract

Movement of moisture in cotton raw and fibrous mass is quite a complex process, which depends on the structure of the material, the nature of the connection of moisture with its pores and moisture exchange phenomena between the agent and the fibrous mass. The article proposes a theoretical model for determining the amount of heat consumed when selecting moisture from raw cotton moving in a raw cotton screw under the influence of a hot air stream. The regularity of the influence on the heat consumption of the screw rotation speed and its geometrical parameters is established.
