Abstrakt: The results of the study of the effect of humidity on the quality of carded yarns with a linear density of 20 tex (Ne30) of the circular spinning method are presented. The moisture of the yarn was carried out on the XORELLA apparatus (Switzerland) according to the factory mode by the method of steaming the yarn with a hot low-pressure steam. It was established that the moisture of the yarn had a positive effect on the mechanical characteristics of the yarn: the specific tensile load, elongation, rupture work, and stiffness and modulus of elasticity decreased.
