In this article, the history of silk fabric and the current state of production are given. The results of theoretical and practical studies of the physical and mechanical properties of raw materials for the production of a new range of natural silk fabrics are shown in the figures and in the tables. The dependence of the twisting of twisted yarns on the coefficient of twist and linear density is investigated. The components of deformation appearing at torsion are studied, and the twist number is recommended in accordance with the purpose. The composition of raw materials for a new fabric is developed.
