The article considers the issue of the acceleration time of the torsional element of the pneumatic-mechanical spinning device, which ensures its start-up in operation when the yarn break is eliminated and the tangential belt is used as a drive instead of the individual drive of the spinning element, as is done on the pneumatic-mechanical spinning device. The article theoretically found the dependence of the required tension of the oncoming belt branch in the tangential drive of the torsion bodies on the acceleration time of the torsion bodies
