Abstract

In this article, discussed in detail the results of new modernized two-saw straight-through fiber cleaner 2VPM, which installed at the Zarbdar cotton ginning plant. The paper studies the instrumental characteristics of cotton fiber cleaning on HVI systems, before implementation and after the start of the work of the 2VPM. It is shown that due to the increase in the cleaning effect of the fiber cleaner 2VPM and the decrease the Trash index, the share of the class “Oliy” in the total assortment of fiber is increasing.
