Irrigation and Melioration

Abstract

An aggressiveness assessment of the filtration flow in the body of the dam is important to ensure the stability of water reservoir dam and its sections. The gradients of filtration flow, analysis of the reasons for their change in cross section of the Tashkent reservoir dam is studied in the paper as an example. High gradients in the core (0.75) and their gradual decrease in the body and drainage of the dam (0.55-0.031) are observed. Chemical compound of water in piezometers was analyzed, an aggressive effect of sulfate salts on piezometers, in particular, on their corrosion, was studied. In studies, the sulfate aggressiveness of water to concrete structures and faster corrosion of piezometers were stated. A list of actions on systematic observation of piezometers includes an inspection of the piezometer filters conditions, the possibility of their colmatage and elimination of corrosion processes.
