Irrigation and Melioration
Abstract
The article studies the influence of the fractional composition of river sediments on the soil structure of irrigated lands and on the process of soil formation. According to surveys in the Mirishkor canal, sediments formed in the river are distinguished by the distribution type in the main canal. The fractional composition of sediments mainly consists of particles of fine sand (0.1-0.05 mm) and coarse dust (0.05-0.001 mm).According to the results of surveys, by studying the mechanical composition of sediment in the channel, it will be possible to observe changes in the amount of composition, such as N-NH4, P2O5, K2O chemicals. In the conducted studies, the relationship of the amount of turbidity to water flow was determined. On the basis of field studies, scientific conclusions are given on the change in sediment fractions, the effect of changes in its chemical composition and the irrigation value of sediment.
