Abstract

In the process of compaction of soils under static and dynamic loads, there is a convergence of soil particles and expulsion of water and air. Under these conditions, small particles penetrate into the pores of larger particles, which increases the density of the soil, while the porosity and water permeability of the soil are changed. The article improves the static methods of compaction of soils and gives new technologies based on laboratory research. Optimal water flow rates were determined for compaction of soils and a regression equation was recommended to determine this flow rate, including the optimal sizes of equipment for water supply of compaction grounds.
