MODERNIZATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL BASES OF WATER MANAGEMENT AT FIELD LEVEL WITH THE USE OF REMOTE SENSING TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The remote sensing technology is showing its poten-tial in agriculture and water management sectors. The paper devoted to the use of remote sensing satellite im-ages for measuring NDVI and analyzing the temporal changes of the indices among different cotton varieties over the vegetation period grown in typical soil-ameliorative conditions of irrigated fields in Fergana and Andijan regions of Uzbekistan. The paper presents the comparative analyses of NDVI among three different cotton cultivars grown in similar agro-ecological conditions.
