Ethical norms and copyrights
By submitting an article to the journal, the author confirms that it was not previously published in the open press and is not under consideration in another publication. The author guarantees that the publication of the article in this form is approved by all authors and the organization where the work was performed. After the adoption of the article, the author guarantees that it will not be published again in any language without the written consent of the publisher. In addition, the author confirms that he is acquainted and agrees with the ethical norms of the journal and is ready to bear responsibility for their non-compliance. All articles without exception are published in the public domain on the journal's website, as well as in the Scientific Electronic Library of Russia. The texts, as well as the metadata of the articles (title, abstract, keywords, and authors’ data), are transferred to various databases and electronic libraries. Directions of the scientific and technical journal "Irrigation and Melioration": - Irrigation and melioration; - Hydraulic engineering structures and pumping stations; - Mechanization of irrigation and reclamation works; - Mechanization of agriculture; - Electrification and automation of agriculture and water resources management; - Economics of water management and use of land resources; - Training in irrigation and melioration; - Reforms in the field of irrigation and land reclamation; Editorial Board of the Scientific and Technical Journal "Irrigation and Melioration" does not accept for publication of scientific articles review and informative content. The manuscripts submitted to the editorial board should contain a letter of recommendation from the organization where the studies, expert opinion, and a review were conducted on the possibility of printing an article. Structure, content and language of the articles The article should be written in a comprehensible literate language, accessible to a wide range of specialists. The article should be a completed work or a stage that can be summarized. The name should inform about the essence of the article, be as short as possible and do not contain general words. As a rule, a scientific article should contain: - universal decimal classification (UDC) - title of the article (in three languages); - Annotation (in three languages); - keywords (in three languages) - Introduction, analysis of the current state of the problem with the necessary references; - statement of the problem; - methods of solution; - analysis of results and examples; - conclusions; - list of used literature. It is necessary to use the adopted terminology, in the case of the introduction of new terms it is necessary to clearly justify this. The units of physical quantities must correspond to the International SI system. The magazine accepts only unpublished articles. If the author used significant fragments from his previously published works, they should be referred to, and the need for such a large borrowing should be explained. In this case, excessive self-citation is not welcome in the journal. The editorial board is extremely negative about the practice of misappropriation of others' ideas and achievements (to plagiarism). We ask authors to carefully approach the work with sources and observe the citation rules: do not forget to use quotes and put bibliographic references. When quoting or retelling the provisions or results of someone else's research, reference is required.
