A mathematical model was developed for the main body frame of the VL80s locomotive for railway engineering, including the justification of the design modes available in operation, the calculation of quasistatic characteristics for static loading modes, for single-thrust and double-thrust modes, for compression and tension modes. A calculation is also made on the effect of distributed inertial loads, then the power factors and stresses in the calculated sections of the main body frame of the VL80s electric locomotive are calculated. Summarizing conclusions are given on the maximum voltages in the design modes of the main frame of the VL80s electric locomotive after upgrading with amplification..
