Abstract
This paper presents the results of a study of thin-film solar cells based on CdS/CdTe doped with copper. 5-20 Å thick Cu films were deposited by magnetron sputtering on the surface of the SnO2:F/SnO/CdS/CdTe structure. Annealing was performed in air at 400 °C for 30 minutes. The photovoltaic characteristics of the fabricated solar cells were studied. An increase in the efficiency of thin-film solar cells after doping the base layer with copper (Cu) is shown.
