The article reflects the methodology, results and features of the studies conducted to assess the strength of rectangular reinforced concrete beams in transverse bending. The technique of using high-strength polymer composites to reinforce reinforced concrete elements is shown. The characteristics of the tested samples, testing methods, the effect of the main factors affecting the strength of the beams are also discussed.
