This article provides the solutions to general and local priorities of profiled rods that work for off-center compression. Rods with an open curved profile are effective in general and local priority compared to hot-rolled bars. In the article the author indicated that when cross-sectioned sheets are bent in various shapes, shear stresses are created at the transverse sections when the nonlinear longitudinal force is applied.
