In paper the instance of calculation of the space steel framework of a multistorey building in altitude of 8 floors with use of the personal computer LYRE is observed. A framework - communication has system with an internal kernel of rigidness. All aspects of loadings, including wind and seismic are considered. Selection of cross-sections of elements of a framework in the application of LIRA-STK is executed.
