Abstract

The problem of solute transport in a two-dimensional nonhomogeneous porous medium is posted and numerically solved. The filtration velocity and hydrodynamic dispersion were set by various relations, nonlinear and sinusoidal. Based on the numerical results, the concentration fields are determined for different values of the initial data and different relations of the filtration velocity and hydrodynamic dispersion.
