The article presents an analysis of pregnant women with epilepsy. It was established that during pregnancy, childbirth, the afterbirth period in women with epilepsy depends on the degree of compensation of the underlying disease, the adequacy of the prescribed anti-epileptic therapy and does not depend on the type of epilepsy. The longer the epileptic history, the more often the epileptic seizures before pregnancy, the greater the risk of exacerbation of the neurological process during pregnancy. The course of epilepsy worsens with each subsequent pregnancy and childbirth.
