The base of growth for many heart abnormalities is dysplasia of cardiac connective tissue at children from 0 to 14 years old that occurs with a frequency of about 33%. The aim of the study is to research specificity of changes in the level of hydroxyproline in the blood at formation of small anomalies of heart development in children which can be proved by enzyme immunoassay. It was found that increase degree of connective tissue is dysplasia. The index of hydroxyproline increases in blood serum which indirectly confirms the violation of biochemical processes in collagen tissue.
