The results of complex examination and treatment of 126 children having different traumatic eye damage were analysed. The extraction of catarrhal masses was carried out in 46,2% cases with implantation of back chamber lenses. 24,6% patients were performed the primary surgical treatment of wound with extraction of cataract. Timely initial surgical treatment with extraction of cataract masses and implantation of back chamber IOL is considered as optimal way of surgical treatment of swelling traumatic cataracts.
