The purpose of this work was to reveal the optimal methods of treatment for exudative otitis Media (EOM) in pediatric patients. Were 604 children aged from 2 to 14 they were diagnosed EOM. It was determined that EOM occured frequently at children aged from 3 to 7 years and it was usually diagnosed in later stages of disease. According to stage (exudative, mucous, fibrous) EOM, children were divided into three groups. The results of study showed that the optimal method of treatment for exudative stage was conservative treatment. However, at mucous and fibrous stages of EOM the myringotomy and shunting tympanic cavity gave positive results.
