Abstract

The article synthesizes the Schiffbase of krotonylidenimine-o-benzoic acid (KBC) from 2-butenal and o-aminobenzoic acid. Complexes of metals Mn(II), Co(II), Nidi), and si(II) were obtained from the Schiff base. The structure and properties of the synthesized compound were studied by elemental analysis and IR spectroscopy.
