Abstract

The influence of nitric acid concentration and decomposition time on the quality parameters of single fertilizers—fertilizer precipitates based on mineralized mass (MM) and phosphorite flour (PF) was studied. For laboratory experiments, MM was used, having the following composition (wt.,%): 14.60-P2O5, 43.99-CaO; 14.11-CO2; 1.58-SO3; 10.82-n .; CaO :P2O5 = 3.01 and PF having the following composition (wt.,%): 17.76-P2O5, 47.51-CaO; 13.93— CO2, 3.27—SO3; 5.27 - n .; CaO : P2O5 = 2.68. The optimal concentrations of nitric acid and the decomposition time of phosphate raw materials were determined: all concentrations of nitric acid and the decomposition time of phosphate raw materials were 25-30 minutes. With optimal parameters, the following compositions of fertilizer precipitates are obtained (wt.%): P2O5total. = 23.42-24.87; P2O5 lim.acid.= 12.76 - 14.64; CaOtotal. = 39.16–40.26; CaO lim.acid.= 22.27- 23.92; CaOwat. = 4.15 - 4.41; N = 1.83-1.95 based on MM and P2O5total.=25.77-27.36; P2O5 lim.acid.= 14.53-16.66; CaOtotal= 44.55-45.32; CaO lim.acid.= 26.19 - 27.87; CaO wat.=4.25-4.52; N = 1.67-1.90 based on PF.
