Abstract

It was shown that gossypol effectively lysed the human erythrocyes with half- maximal effect at 71,9 ± 2,8 µM, megosin 34,9 ± 1,9 µM and batriden, 43,6 ± 1,1 µM. Gossypol derivatives, megosin and batriden, were app. 2 time more effective.
