Abstract

The study reports on preparation process of concentrated grades of superphosphate and ammophosphate by separating the products of phosphorus-sulfuric acid decomposition of washed dried concentrate into solid and liquid phases, respectively. The total rate of acids ranged from 133 to 166% of stoichiometry for the formation of monocalcium phosphate. Before filtration, phosphoric acid gypsum pulps were ammoniated to pH = 2.0; 2.5 and 3. The distribution degree of components by phases is calculated. On the basis of the solid part of the pulp, a concentrated brand of superphosphate was obtained, and the liquid part after its preammonization to pH = 5 ammophosphate. The quality of the latter is significantly superior to similar products.
