Abstract

To date, many studies have already been conducted with the components of G. lucidum and more than 20 pharmacological effects have been identified, indicating its great usefulness for human health. In addition, mushrooms very effectively treat cancer and prevent their formation, stopping the degradation of nerve cells in Parkinson's disease. An important biological effect is the rejuvenating effect of G. lucidum on the human body. Currently, the technology of cultivation of the fungus and the release of its various components for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes has been mastered.
