Abstract

At incubation of mitochondria at 36.7°C (hypoxia and ischemia), the composition of phospholipids and cholesterol significantly decreased in conditions of auto-oxidation for 90 minutes, free fatty acids and their methyl ethers, cholesterol ethers, on the contrary, increased dramatically. Addition of lipid peroxidation inducer in mitochondria, the decrease in phospholipids is almost the same as in auto-oxidation, the increase of free fatty acids and cholesterol ethers has accelerated, and the increase in methyl ethers of free fatty acids has decreased slightly, and the cholesterol decrease has accelerated.
