THYROID STATUS OF THE ORGANISM IN THE INHIBITION MONOXYGENIC SYSTEM OF THE LIVER IN EX'ERIMENT
Abstract
The article discusses the thyroid status of the body during the inhibition of the functional activity of the monooxygenase system of the liver. In rats, the liver monooxygenase system was inhibited by the administration of cobalt chloride and cimetidine. In both variants of inhibition, a moderate increase in the content of thyroid hormones was observed against the background of a decrease in the content of thyroid-stimulating hormone. It is concluded that there is no direct relationshi' between the functional state of the monooxygenase system of the liver and the functional state of the thyroid gland.
