Abstract

This article explores the theme of the lyric hero - Sayid (hunted animal) - Sayyod (hunter) in the later period literature of Turkic people: Azerbaijani, Turkmen and Uzbek, which are covered in Chapter XXI of Alisher Navoi's poem Leyli and Majnun.
