Scientific Bulletin of Namangan State University


this article is devoted to the usage of saj’ genre (a literary genre) in the translations of “Baburnama” written by Zakhiriddin Mukhammad Babur. Moreover, here is shown the types of saj’ and its pragmatic peculiarities reflected in English translations. Also in the article was analyzed and discussed pragmatic consistencies and inconsistencies of translations of saj’ in some passages of “Baburnama”.
