Abstract
This article explores the relationship between infrastructure and domestic tourism for the sustainable development of the hospitality industry, and analyzes government programs implemented by Malaysia, Spain and the United States for the sustainable development of tourism. As a result of the analysis, a 5-step model of transformation into a competitive tourist region was developed.
