The embodiment of Beijing's new economic strategy was the belt and road initiative, which directly affected Central Asian countries with major infrastructure projects. In recent years, economic cooperation between China and the Central Asian countries has been actively developing on an upward and without specific reference to the initiative — on a bilateral and multilateral beneficial basis.
