For many centuries, the territory of Uzbekistan served as a bridge connecting East and West through the Great Silk Road. Thanks to this, our region was known as an important crossroads on this road, where various civilizations and cultures came into contact, and became famous for its invaluable contribution to universal human development. From III millennium BC Lazurite, Jade, Western Meridional, Stepnoy and other routes were components of the Silk Road
