Abstract

Increased aggressiveness of children is one of the most acute problems not only for teachers and psychologists, but also for society as a whole. This article refers to the directions of correctional work with aggressive children, specifies correctional method and technics that express one’s attitude towards negative situations. The goals and objectives of this corrective direction of work with aggressive children are to teach the child to see different behaviors in a problem situation, and also help the child to develop constructive behavior skills, thereby expanding the range of his behavioral reactions in a problem situation and minimizing (ideally, removing) destructive elements in behavior. Scientific and methodological aspects of the correction of tendency to aggression are discussed issues of psychocorrection of aggressive behavior of adolescents, the methodology of this work, the nature of the training sessions and their results. Here is an analysis of methodological approaches for the correction of emotional disorders used in cognitive therapy, gestalt therapy, behavioral therapy and other areas of psychotherapy. In our study, methods of various psychotherapeutic areas were also applied. In particular, on the basis of cognitive, gestalt, and behavioral approaches, the program “Behavior Modification Training” was developed. The following tasks are solved during the training: awareness of one's own needs; responding to negative emotions and learning how to regulate your emotional state; the formation of adequate self-esteem; training in ways of purposeful behavior, internal self-control and deterrence of negative impulses; the formation of a positive moral position, life prospects and future planning
