Abstract

The article gives an overview of the history of the study of cases in Uzbek linguistics and provides comments on the study of the morphological system of the Uzbek language. This is the contribution of the linguist Ayyub Gulyamov to Uzbek linguistics. Contains information on the content of concepts in the Uzbek language parts of speech, root, base, suffix. There are also comments in the Uzbek language parts of speech, root, base, suffix. etc. in the works of Ayyub Gulyamov. Commenting on the history of studying the system of verbs in Uzbek linguistics, it is certainly necessary to refer to the work done in the 1920 s on the history of studying the morphological system of the Uzbek language. The special form of the “category of cases” was studied in detail by I. Zieеvа, T. Inoyatov, A. Yuldashev, G. Ruziev, A. Marufov, R. Rasulov, Sh. Rakhmatullaev and others. In general, it is known that the study of the case system began much earlier in Turkology, including in Uzbek linguistics.
