Abstract

In this article, we evaluated yield traits in upland cotton (G. hirsutim L.) grown under control and water deficiency. We analyzed tolerance and sensitivity of cotton to waters stress, and also assessed cotton productivity, cotton weight per boll, and number of seeds. Low sensitivity index to water stress and high tolerance index upon cotton productivity was demonstrated by “Ishonch” and “Navbakhor-2” cotton varieties compared to “C-6524” and “Tashkent-6”.
