In this article, the object of research was the cathode precipitation of GMZ-4, obtained by electrolytic precipitation of rich gold-containing solutions after intensive leaching of gravioconcentrates. As a result of the conducted research, to improve the quality of cathode precipitation in the conditions of GMZ-2, the optimal method of nitric acid treatment was chosen. This method is implemented on an industrial scale in the shop of finished products and is used when cathode precipitation is below the required quality
