Currently in the world, in the mining and metallurgical industry there is a forced need to reduce the share of processing ores and increase the share of previously accumulated industrial wastes. A phased concept of the use of man-made waste is proposed. At the first stage, the existing industrial wastes are considered as resources and are subject to complete processing with the minimum amount of new waste. At the second stage, the task is to develop non-waste technologies. The example of Uzbekistan (Navoi and Almalyk MMC) shows one of the possible options for the integrated use of industrial waste for the state economy.
