The article presents the results of theoretical studies on the justification of the angles of crumbling and solution of the wings of the pointed paw of the developed machine for pre-sowing treatment of ridges, the angle of its entry into the soil and the width of the grip. At the same time, based on the conditions for ensuring high-quality loosening of the soil with minimal energy consumption, the sliding of plant residues and weeds along the blades of the wings of the pointed paw and the descent from them, analytical dependences are obtained to determine the angles of crumbling and solution, the angle of entry into the soil and the width of its capture. The results of calculations based on these dependencies showed that to ensure high-quality processing of furrows between ridges with minimal energy consumption, the angles of crumbling and solution of the wings of the lancet paw of the machine should be within 20-26° and 60-65°, respectively, the angle of entry of the lancet paw into the soil is 17-26°, and the width of its capture is 14 cm.
