This paper presents brief information on the ways of upgrading the main silicon and germanium detector materials, the features of the technological stages of manufacturing heterojunction semiconductor coordinate-sensitive detectors based on Al-aGe-pSi-Au structures. Their current and spectrometric characteristics are investigated.
